Due to numerous requests, we have decided to start this blog to keep all our family and
friends up to date on the daily activities of our new bacchaloos ("little one"). For those of you who haven't heard yet, Nalini was born on April 16th at 1:43 pm. Weighing in a 6 lbs 15.3 oz, she was calm and collected from the start. She had a couple long nights at the beginning, but once we got her well fed, she has been happy and content ever since. Arti was absolutely incredible throughout the delivery, coming through it beautifully. Never had I seen someone smiling through the whole thing. Arti continues to amaze me with her incredible strength. Both mommy and baby are doing nicely now, and we couldn't be happier with everything that's happened over the past nine months. You are right Birin, Arti is smiling and so is Nalini...... amazing for a couple days old baby. Can't wait to see more pics.

Congratulations from the prairie deep-freeze! Please make sure you keep sending pictures of the new baby girl! Also a congrats to the new nani and nana- the most well wishes to your whole family! The whole family is blessed with a new arrival, and that is the most wonderful thing in the world.
